NEWS FLASH: 

1)  SAVE THE DATE ! Frid/Sat/Sun March 2,3,4:
10TH ANNUAL APPALACHIAN TRAIL CELEBRATION & BACKPACKING CLINIC !  AWG will be hosting 5 events
at this year's event at Amicalola Falls State Park in Dawsonville, GA. (The park is the gateway to the southern terminus
of the Appalachian Trail). It's our fifth year supporting our favorite state park!  Our events will be:

2) MONTHLY BARGAIN DAY HIKES ! Our $20 "Hike the Panther Creek Trail & Wine Tasting" was a beautiful afternoon
spent hiking to a lovely waterfall - followed by a wine tasting and dinner at Glen Ella Springs B&B !  20 folks attended !

             ** This group hikes at least one Saturday afternoon every month in the beauty of Georgia's outdoors - led by  
                                                      at least one  Appalachian Wilderness Guides  guide / naturalist! **
